Oakland Raiders: Super Bowl Bound? The Team’s Mission Is To Sit Atop AFC West

They say revenge is a dish best served cold. For seven long years Raider Nation has endured the bitter taste of defeat at the hands of almost every team in the NFL, particularly our hated division rivals.  This year, it is time to sit down, cleanse the palette, and prepare for an ice cold dinner. It is still too early to predict Super bowl, or even Playoffs for the Raiders, but the idea seems to …

Seahawks vs. Raiders: Oakland Raiders Breakdown

What’s Worked So Far Run the ball early and run the ball often. With how bad the quarterbacks have been in Oakland this year, the attention has shifted to Darren McFadden and Michael Bush in the backfield, who have done a great job this year of carrying the offense.   What’s Broke So Far As I mentioned earlier, the quarterbacks in Oakland leave a whole lot to be desired

NFL Week 8 Picks: Seattle Seahawks vs. Oakland Raiders Prediction

Both the Seahawks and the Raiders have gotten off to surprisingly good starts this year, and each team is coming off a solid win against a division rival. If momentum is a real thing, the edge would have to go to Oakland, who posted an overwhelming victory against the Denver Broncos, winning by 45 points on the road.

Oakland Raiders’ Trick or Treat? Jekyll & Hyde Team Welcomes Seattle Seahawks

It is almost Halloween, and the Raiders have the perfect costume.  This year’s team will be going as Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (a novel written by the Scottish author Robert Louis Stevenson and based on a character with Split Personalities).  This is the ideal costume for a team that can anger and mystify one week and totally amaze and dominate the next.

Not much else going on in the NFL world today.

Raiders vs. Broncos: Oakland Raiders Breakdown

What’s Worked So Far Oakland has been able to run the ball with great success this year and the Raiders are tenth in the league in rushing. Darren McFadden and Michael Bush have carried the load for Oakland this year and have been the only source of production seeing as the quarterback situation is yet again a mess for the Raiders.

Oakland Raiders Still Have Work to Do to Start a New Pattern of Winning

Foreword The Oakland Raiders are just a few hours from a game that could break a pattern. In 2009 the pattern was LWLLL, which means loss, win, loss, loss, loss. This year and on Oct

Oakland Raiders: Despite 1-3 Start, the Raiders Could Get Hot Down the Stretch

That title might seem like rose colored glasses to some people, but consider this.  Around this time a year ago, the Raiders looked like a traveling circus, and by that I mean, the freak show. They were getting pummeled.  And I wrote articles that reflected my ire. Despite the 1-3 start this year however, the Raiders are still doing well in the “eye test.”  The numbers might not be spectacular …

That’s all for today guys, i’ll be back to blog you tomorrow.

JaMarcus Russell and Al Davis’ Draft Day Blunders As Oakland Raiders’ Owner

As the Oakland Raiders (1-2) seem destined for yet another year of futility, it seems like the right time to criticize Al Davis’s questionable personnel moves.  Then again, when isn’t it? Since the Raider’s last good team with Rich Gannon at the helm, Al Davis’ moves have been more than suspect, however, his ability to field an all-NFL-Combine-team, has certainly not. Let’s take some time to …
